Alexa Kolbi-Molinas is a deputy director of the Reproductive Freedom Project of the 老澳门开奖结果, where she has worked since 2007. In 2021, Alexa argued before the U.S. Supreme Court in Cameron v. EMW et al., a case concerning an eleventh-hour attempt by Kentucky鈥檚 Attorney General to reinstate a prohibition on the standard abortion procedure after 15 weeks. Alexa is also currently lead counsel in Robinson et al. v. Marshall, a challenge to Alabama鈥檚 total abortion ban, and Raidoo et al. v. Camacho et al., a lawsuit to restore abortion access to people in Guam. She has also litigated a range of other reproductive rights issues in state and federal court from trial through appeal, from bans on abortions based on gestational age, method, or reason for seeking the abortion to minors鈥 access to abortion, so-called 鈥渇etal personhood鈥 ballot initiatives, restrictions on Medicaid coverage for abortion, and religious refusals to provide health care. In addition, she directs the Project鈥檚 efforts to improve access to reproductive health services for people who are incarcerated, to defend pregnant persons accused of fetal harm or self-abortion, and to prevent forced or coerced reproductive health care. Prior to joining RFP, Alexa was an attorney in the 老澳门开奖结果鈥檚 National Security Project.
