Arjun Sethi ) is a legislative counsel/policy advisor in the ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û’s Washington Legislative Office, focusing on a wide range of human rights issues, including ratification and implementation of international treaties. He also works on national security and privacy related issues, including watchlisting, governmental discrimination, and overseas and domestic surveillance. Prior to joining the ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û’s Washington office, Sethi spent six years with a Washington law firm where his clients included asylum-seekers, national security detainees and criminal defendants on death row. His writing has appeared in numerous outlets, including The Los Angeles Times, USA Today, and The Washington Post. He is a graduate of NYU Law School and the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
