Bio

Daniel is the Asylum Task-Force and Black Immigrants Bail Fund Coordinator. Daniel has a BA in Law and a Master of Laws from Chapman University Fowler School of Law. He is an asylee from Cameroon who represented himself and successfully won his asylum after being detained in 5 horrible ICE detention facilities across California for a year.

Upon release from detention and experiencing homelessness for months, he was able to navigate life’s obstacles and started volunteering at Haitian Bridge. He is now a frontline advocate and liaison for the Cameroonian immigrant community. Daniel moderates asylum cases and advocacy actions at Haitian Bridge coordinates parole/bonds, release and post-release assistance with the BIBF, and correlates actions of the Cameroon Advocacy Network.
