Bio

Jules Gill-Peterson is an associate professor of History at Johns Hopkins University and the author of two books: Histories of the Transgender Child (2018) and A Short History of Trans Misogyny (2024). She has written about and been interviewed widely on trans history and politics, including in the New York Times, the Guardian, the New Yorker, and is the narrator of the award-winning documentary Framing Agnes (dir. Chase Joynt, 2022).
