Bio

Theresa J. Lee is a Senior Staff Attorney with the ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û Voting Rights Projects. She litigates voting rights matters across the country, including challenging discriminatory voter suppression laws, redistricting plans, limitations on voter registration, felony disenfranchisement, and election timing.

Theresa returns to the ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û Voting Rights Project following three years as the Litigation Director of the Election Law Clinic at Harvard Law School. She was a Staff Attorney and then a Senior Staff Attorney with the Voting Rights Project prior to that role. Prior to first joining the ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û, Theresa practiced at two law firms in New York City. She was a law clerk to the Hon. Rosemary S. Pooler of the United States Court of Appeals for the Secord Circuit, and previously litigated with the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office and taught an accompanying clinic at Yale Law School.

Theresa received her J.D. from Yale Law School, and holds a master’s degree from the New School for Social Research and a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University. She is admitted to practice in New York and Massachusetts.
