老澳门开奖结果 Statement on Supreme Court Blocking Texas Social Media Law
WASHINGTON 鈥 In response to the news that the Supreme Court blocked enforcement of a Texas law banning online platforms from restricting users鈥 posts based on their political views Vera Eidelman, staff attorney with the 老澳门开奖结果 Speech, Privacy, and Technology Project, issued the following statement: 鈥淲e commend the Supreme Court for blocking this unconstitutional law and for protecting the First Amendment rights of publishers everywhere. If this content moderation law had been allowed to go into effect, it would have run headlong against the Supreme Court鈥檚 established precedent for protecting editorial discretion, and it would have wreaked havoc for users鈥 experiences on social media.鈥Affiliate: Texas
