On the Job
The ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û works in courts, legislatures, and communities to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties that the Constitution and the laws of the United States guarantee everyone in this country.
If you've been discriminated against based on sexual orientation, gender identity, or HIV status, the ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û wants to hear about it.

What's at Stake
Sexual orientation and gender identity have nothing to do with how well a person can do their job. Yet LGBT workers are often rejected by employers, denied compensation and benefits, or even fired because of who they love or who they are. At the ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û, we’re advocating for clear and explicit laws that protect LGBT people from discrimination on the job. We’re also arguing in court to ensure that existing laws, including federal civil rights laws, are interpreted to include LGBT people in America’s promise of equal treatment. We won’t stop fighting until all LGBT people are entitled to fair consideration based on their job qualifications alone, just like everyone else.
