Project Liberty: Reality TV, Only Smarter

is making cable TV a little smarter. The latest episode of Project Liberty — the NYCLU’s very own television show — is airing in New York City. This episode focuses on the NYCLU’s 60th anniversary and its relentless fight for fair marriage laws in New York State and nationwide.

Executive Director Donna Lieberman in last summer’s historic victory giving gay and lesbian New Yorkers the freedom to marry. She on our landmark federal lawsuit challenging the discriminatory Defense of Marriage Act.

The show includes highlights from our 60th anniversary gala in March, which featured performances by the Roots and . ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û Executive Director Anthony Romero to wish the NYCLU a happy 60th:

The half-hour show airs on cable stations in each of New York City’s five boroughs, Long Island and Rochester. Eventually, we plan to air it throughout the state. New episodes are produced on a quarterly basis.
