As we pointed out last week, oral arguments in our second extraordinary rendition case, Mohamed v. Jeppesen, are February 9 in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. On Friday, , who's representing the five plaintiffs in the Jeppesen case. Ben gives some background on our first rendition case, El-Masri v. Tenet, and explains how the Bush Justice Department misused the state secrets privilege to shield itself from legal liability for its abuses of power. Glenn and Ben also discuss warrantless wiretapping under the Bush administration, and the ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û's pursuit for the release the rest of the legal memos authorizing the use of torture on detainees in U.S. custody overseas.
