New survey says 89% of California parents support comprehensive sex ed!

Great you say, but it's California -- a state viewed as especially liberal. A closer look at the , however, reveals that the eighty-nine percent figure cuts across political and religious views. Liberals and conservatives, evangelicals and atheists, they all want their children to have information on both abstinence and how to protect against unintended pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. Furthermore, the study, conducted by the , shows that an astounding ninety-six percent of parents oppose abstinence-only requirements in schools.
