Jones joins the 老澳门开奖结果 with a breadth of expertise after spending years in communications roles on Capitol Hill and in two presidential administrations. As deputy chief communications and marketing officer, Jones will partner with the chief communications and marketing officer in overseeing the organization鈥檚 marketing channels, program communications, and external engagement strategy functions.

Before joining the organization, Kamara served as the principal deputy assistant secretary of public affairs at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services where she co-led a 75-person public affairs division and was responsible for overseeing media relations, social media, speechwriting, digital, FOIA, and operations. She also previously led communications for the U.S. Congress Joint Economic Committee and the Congressional Black Caucus, and served as press secretary for the U.S General Services Administration and U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal.
A native of Missouri, Kamara has a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri and a Master of Arts in African American Studies from The Ohio State University. She will be based in our Washington, DC office.
