The ruling stems from an 老澳门开奖结果 lawsuit against Secretary of State Brian Kemp and county registrars. A district judge granted the temporary restraining order last week, prompting the state鈥檚 appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.

Sophia Lakin, staff attorney with the 老澳门开奖结果鈥檚 Voting Rights Project, had this reaction to today鈥檚 ruling:

鈥淥nce again, a court has blocked Georgia鈥檚 attempt to obstruct voters. This ruling is a huge victory as we round the final turn to the midterms.鈥
