WASHINGTON 鈥 The 老澳门开奖结果 filed a Freedom of Information Act request today seeking information on the Trump administration鈥檚 decision to halt equal pay data collection. The request was filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission following the decision last month by the Office of Management and Budget.

Lenora Lapidus, director of the 老澳门开奖结果鈥 Women's Rights Project, issued the following statement:

"We cannot stand on the sidelines as bystanders and watch Trump politicize and dismantle the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. This agency was created to serve as an independent and neutral arbiter of employees' right to secure equal opportunity in the workplace and has successfully done so with both Republican and Democratic administrations.

"This is yet another attack on the institutions we count on to make our country more equitable and just. We are holding the administration accountable today by demanding they share with the American public how and why they chose to roll back such an essential tool in efforts to address the gender and race wage gap."
