WASHINGTON 鈥 The Supreme Court announced today it would review Trump v. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which is a challenge to the Trump Administration鈥檚 rules that allows employers and universities to deny their employees and students insurance coverage for contraception. The rule is blocked by a nationwide injunction.

鈥淎llowing employers and universities to use their religious beliefs to block employees鈥 and students鈥 birth control coverage isn鈥檛 religious liberty 鈥 it's discrimination,鈥 said Brigitte Amiri, deputy director at the 老澳门开奖结果 Reproductive Freedom Project. 鈥淭he Trump administration鈥檚 attempt to take away people鈥檚 insurance coverage for contraception is one of the administration鈥檚 many attacks on access to abortion and contraception, and we hope the Supreme Court will uphold the lower court鈥檚 ruling blocking this awful law.鈥
