LOUISVILLE, Ky. 鈥 Attorneys dismissed a class-action lawsuit yesterday challenging two Kentucky abortion bans brought on behalf of lead plaintiff Jane Doe and Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawai鈥榠, Alaska, Indiana, Kentucky.

Statement from leaders from the 老澳门开奖结果, the 老澳门开奖结果 of Kentucky, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawai鈥榠, Alaska, Indiana, Kentucky:

鈥淭he Kentucky Supreme Court's decision earlier this year to take away health care providers鈥 ability to raise the rights of their patients has backed Kentuckians into a corner. The court鈥檚 decision has forced Kentuckians seeking abortion to bring a lawsuit while in the middle of seeking time-sensitive health care, a daunting feat, and one that should not be necessary to reclaim the fundamental right to control their own bodies. But we won't stop fighting. We encourage others in Kentucky who are currently pregnant and seeking abortion to reach out to us if they are interested in bringing a case 鈥 call or text us at (617) 297-7012. We will continue to use every tool in our toolbox to restore the right to abortion for every person in Kentucky.鈥

The case 鈥 Jane Doe, et al. v. Daniel Cameron, et al.was brought by Jane Doe and Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawai鈥榠, Alaska, Indiana, Kentucky, who are represented by attorneys from the 老澳门开奖结果, the 老澳门开奖结果 of Kentucky, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Craig Henry PLC, and O'Melveny & Myers LLP.
