On August 31, the ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û won an important victory on behalf of three immigrant women who were sexually harrassed by their employer. In September 2006, a jury found Alberto Palacci guilty of harrassing the three Latina women. But Palacci refused to pay the jury-awarded compensation. After nearly a year of negotiations, the ÀÏ°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û's Women's Rights Project won $750,000 in damages and attorneys fees for their clients, Deyanira Espinal, Angela Berise Fritman Peralta and Maria Araceli Gonzales Flores.
